Lizzi Porter
Lizzi makes her artworks from the detritus found on walks in towns and along the byways of the countryside. Wood, seeds, bark, a birds nest, ash from a night fire, a piece of metal who’s original use is long forgotten; she examines the relationships between disparate materials, creating ethereal objects and drawings which will make you look again at how our world is made.
Lizzi graduated from the Ruskin School of Art in 2009 & completed her MA in sculpture at the Royal College of Art. She is a member of the Office of Public Ritual.
