Josh Wilson
Josh Wilson (b. 1991, Wirral) is an artist, writer and organiser of Musée Imaginaire who lives and works in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Wilson was involved in a three year collaborative project by the name of Dennis Isou; a fictional artist and third vessel for experimentation in video, performance, text and installation with Edinburgh based artist and dancer Mark Bleakley. Wilson writes regularly for thisistommorrow and Corridor8, and has had an essay published on the artist Dan Holdsworth. He has undertaken projects with Tate Britain, London; The Northern Charter, Newcastle; and A3 Project Space, Birmingham. Musée Imaginaire is a fluid and nomadic curatorial space for instigating cultural activity (performances, film screenings, lectures, exhibitions, gigs and so on) based on Andre Malraux’s concept of the museum without walls.
